TERMS OF USE

QuietMind Last updated: 9 March 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the QuietMind website, self-assessment tools, and psychiatric consultation services (“Services”) operated by QuietMind (“we”, “our”, “us”).

By accessing or using any part of QuietMind, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

Nature of Services

QuietMind provides:

  • Online psychiatric consultations conducted via secure video call
  • In-Person psychiatric consultations conducted at QuietMind Clinics
  • Clinical self-assessment tools for informational purposes
  • Educational resources and clinical guides

QuietMind operates in accordance with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020 issued by the Board of Governors of the Medical Council of India and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

QuietMind does not provide emergency psychiatric care, crisis intervention, or inpatient mental health services. If you are in immediate distress, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline.

Eligibility

To use QuietMind’s services, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be located in India at the time of consultation
  • Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information at all times
  • Use the Services for personal, lawful purposes only

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. If QuietMind determines at any point that you have misrepresented your eligibility, we reserve the right to terminate your access immediately without refund.

Minors and Guardian Consent

QuietMind’s services are intended for adults aged 18 and above. Consultations for individuals under 18 are available only where a parent or legal guardian is present, has provided documented written consent prior to the session, and accepts responsibility for all clinical decisions made on behalf of the minor.

By booking a consultation for a minor, the consenting guardian represents that they are legally authorised to do so and accepts these Terms on the minor’s behalf.

If a minor accesses QuietMind’s services independently by misrepresenting their age, QuietMind bears no clinical, legal, or ethical responsibility for any assessment, advice, or treatment arising from that engagement.

Clinical Scope and Medical Responsibility

Psychiatric consultations at QuietMind are conducted by a licensed medical professional based on:

  • Information voluntarily provided by you during the consultation and intake process
  • Professional clinical judgment applied at the time of consultation

The accuracy and completeness of information you provide directly affects the quality of clinical assessment and treatment recommendations. You accept full responsibility for any consequences arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or withheld information.

Outcomes of psychiatric treatment vary between individuals. QuietMind does not guarantee specific clinical results, symptom resolution, or cure of any condition.

QuietMind’s clinical services are limited to outpatient telepsychiatry. Any condition requiring inpatient care, emergency intervention, or treatment beyond this scope will be referred to an appropriate facility.

Appointments, Payments, and Cancellations

Booking and Payment All appointments must be paid for in advance at the time of booking. Payment confirms your appointment slot. Fees are displayed clearly before payment is completed.

Cancellation by QuietMind If QuietMind cancels a confirmed appointment for any reason, a full refund will be issued or the appointment will be rescheduled at your preference.

Rescheduling Appointments may be rescheduled once at no charge if notice is given more than 48 hours in advance. Rescheduling within 48 hours of the appointment is subject to availability and may not always be possible.
